isnstalling pagelines 2 with page.ly as my host.

trying to install pagelines 2.0.1 and I am unable to upload it. I have the full version and when I try to upload it I get the following error message:

Destination folder already exists. /data4/var/www/vhosts/simplyshontay.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/pagelines/

I went via FTP and tried to delete the entire theme and was not allowed to. I was thinking that if the entire theme directory was deleted then I could do a clean install. Am I wrong? I am very new to this as you may tell. Why would I not be able to delete a theme my directory?
