   Hey guys,

   I've noticed from this ticket:
   is_tax() fails with a parameter
   
   That I can't use is_tax('something') because it's basically 'broken' in the core of WP. Is this true?

   If so, how would I get that .diff patch to work? I've never used one before.

   To the WordPress Core Team.

   Will this is_tax() issue ever be amended? It's making my life hell.
