   I want to set up Google Analytics and need to know which code to insert from the instructions from Google.

   I put a Google provided code in the footer but think it's for a static website and not a blog.

   There is a Google Analytics plugin for WP that automatically does that for ya', putting it on all your pages

   give it a try. However for me personally i have found that Google Analytics is waaay overkill for my stats needs - it would be amazing for a commercial-level site. Alternatively: Blog Stats plugin from Automattic is fine. Another outside-site that you can use w/out a plugin is Blogflux. I kind of like the blogflux -- you do need to put their code on every page, easy enough by sticking it in the footer.

   Good information, Dgold. Blog Stats looks like it's for use on WordPress servers only but maybe I missed something. Blogflux looks interesting,
