   Hi,

   I don't know if anyone noticed this, but the current WP 2.5 seems to auto direct the domain to www. or non www depending on what you put in the General Settings.

   I always used htaccess redirects before this, but now it seems if I do that I end up on a redirect page.

   I want to force my URL to a http:// and don't know whether just putting my url and blog url as http://mysite.com is already enough.

   Can anyone clarify this? Seems like the WP already forces it by itself (no need htaccess redirection)

   that's been the case for quite some time... not just in 2.5

   you don't need to use htaccess for this, just set the correct option in the settings.
