Is WordPress.com the solution to unique class C IP addresses for a blog network? (2 posts)

I have several domain names and I intend to have a blog for each. If I use WP.org, I need to have a separate class C IP address for each blog, else Google will discount my several links pointed to one site, all on the same hosting plan. It will be more expensive of course to have a hosting plan for each domain. Is using WP.com a good solution to this problem? Do I lose a lot of SEO benefit by using WP.com rather than WP.org? Does it make sense to have a network of blogs, each on a WP.com site?

Not correct. I mean, yes it will degrade your link juice, but not enough to kill your SEO.

I wouldn't bother with the multiple IP hoopla. You'll be fine.
