   Hi,

   I am looking at setting up a site that will sell only one product and must have a nice clean checkout process. I am new to WordPress and wondered whether it would be suitable.

   All signs would point to yes. But seriously, give wordpress.com a spin, use it as a template to see if wordpress is right for you, then spend money on hosting so you can start selling.
