• This is the most basic question, but I can’t find the answer. Is WordPress a complete website by itself, or is it an add-in that integrates with my current, existing site?

Let’s say I already have a basic, existing website build upon a simple FrontPage theme. Using WordPress, can I then integrate its features (blogging, PHP) into my current site. Or, is WordPress an entire replacement for my current website, overwriting all?

  • It can be used for either one.

I use WordPress for all sorts of things. It can be a blog, a standalone site with a custom theme, or an additional area to an existing website. It really depends on your skill level and your needs.

Sorry this is kind of a general answer, but WordPress is capable of doing quite a bit……
