I know nothing about creating websites, but I need a website for a business I'm starting. I purchased a domain name and somebody created a very basic website or webpage for me using WordPress. I'm not interested in any kind of blog related site, just a website that has pictures and information about a service I provide. I'm not getting much help from the person who created my basic website, so I'm trying to figure out how to finish the website myself - and I'm not getting very much accomplished. What I'd really like to know is if WordPress is a good choice for a non-blog related website, or if there are other choices for website building software that would be more appropriate and easier to use. Any suggestions would be much appreciated please!

WordPress can easily act as "NOT A BLOG". Just don't write posts, create pages and use the static front page feature in Settings->Reading.
