[resolved] Is upgrading 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 just swapping a few files? (3 posts)

(I did search for this before posting.)

Can you update WordPress 2.0.6 installation to 2.0.7 just by replacing these files (via ftp) mentioned in this post? It wasn't clear.

Here is the list of files that have changed since 2.0.6:
    wp-admin/inline-uploading.php
    wp-admin/post.php
    wp-includes/classes.php
    wp-includes/functions.php
    wp-settings.php
    wp-includes/version.php

Or do you still have to follow the regular update path as described in the codex?

    Thanks.

    Thanks moshu!

So, this is what I understand to do.

    1. Backup database.
    2. Backup all files.
    3. upload the new files replacing their 2.0.6 namesakes.
    4. test

If I'm wrong, it won't be the end of the earth, because I only have one sandbox locally.
