caroljm36My site is still 2.6.1. I've been reluctant to upgrade because I was afraid of losing all my links etc. Last year email notification stopped working. But it still worked okay, then my host migrated servers a month ago and things went to hell. It's real slow now, often can't get on at all and it times out, when I post it goes all white on me and just stops. Readers are complaining they can't get to it. I've gotten various messages but today I got this:
"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in \\boswinfs03\home\users\web\b304\whl.caroljm36\wp-includes\category.php on line 16"
I've been going back and forth with the hosting site all this time, but could this really be happening due to the old WP version?
