• So we are creating a website off a WordPress theme, and hosting it on godaddy. Problem is, we don’t want to lose all the work, and ranking of our blog site by switching over.

Is their a way to have a live feed importing from the WordPress.com blog onto our hosted website?

I used iframes, but the layout and header is different. Wondering if there is a way to only pull content / text / images / comments , etc from the WordPress.com site in real time, without pulling any styling or functionality of the blog site.

  • Yes – you can use the RSS Widget in Appearance->Widgets to pull a feed from your .com site to your .org site.

Ok cool. But just to clarify. When I use the RSS widget (in the .org site) it will pull it and display it on my “Blog” page, so other viewers can see, or only a feed we can see in our wordpress reader? I want to pull our public blog onto the website so they can view it there
