    The extra break tag gets inserted automatically (and incorrectly) by WordPress. It tries to translate actual line breaks in post text (CR’s and LF’s) into
    or <p> tags, but the implementation is pretty dodgy and it often mangles the HTML, although usually it’s not a problem.

    The next version of EasyRecipe (due for release soon) largely eliminates this occurring.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Is there a nightly tarball I can use in the mean time?
    Or a hacky fix to carry over until the next version is released ?

    Unfortunately no. However we should be ready to beta test within a day or two. If you leave me a message at http://www.easyrecipeplugin.com/support.php I’ll add you to the beta tester’s list.

    Think the issue is that google on my side is bouncing emails I’m sending to your support AT easyrecipe email. So just following up with you here about beta-testing. Has it been postponed since I have not heard anything about it (or perhaps I didn’t get on to the list?)
