I have received the following Comments on one of my blogs which I assume are fraudulent:

Just as a warning, next time I notify your ISP that your site is spamming and hope they take action. Stop Spamming, you don’t like it and neither does anyone else!

Stop Spamming other people’s sites! Either you or someone you hired to create inbound links for your site is posting spam on other sites.

Stop spamming other people’s websites, if you didn’t do it then it must be the company you hired for SEO, on either case – STOP SPAMMING!

Am I correct in my assumption? Is there anything I can do about this? They seem to be on the same IP address. If it is fraud, to whom would I address a complaint?

Not sure what you mean by "fraudulent". Is it really from Google? Well, I doubt it, I doubt that Google send official notifications by blog comments these days.

For me the fraud would be in the email address, the site name, and the accusation that I'm somehow spamming someone.

The IP address is a Comcast account. And, abuse@gmail.com has shown up in other forums discussions as bogus.

I simply cannot figure out how my WP blog could have been posting into someone esle's site without them doing something to have that happen.

I assume this is a prank on the level of calling the tobacco shop and asking if they have Prince Albert in a can.

Yep, it looks like you are the victim of spam rather than the other way around.

You can blacklist the IP in discussion settings.
