    HI,
    I have use the Version 2.3.1 word press, my questions is: is there any option for display the post like which post show first, second and so on, I meant the precedence for article/post, please let me know the same ,and awaiting for your positive reply ,

    If you’re asking if there’s a way to *force* a preference on the sort order of posts displayed on your home (or any other) page, not without some custom coding on the posts query.

    Before offering a solution, it would help to understand fully how you expect to see “precedence for article/post” fulfilled.

    First, where is this to occur on your blog?

    Second, what mechanism is needed to trigger precedence? For example, I can imagine adding a ‘top’ custom key to posts with a value specifying the order, but a query on these would cause only posts with the ‘top’ key to display.
