   I am trying to find a list of all CVEs both historical and recent that affect wordpress. I found https://codex.wordpress.org/CVEs but that list does not seem to be maintained. Is there an official list available somewhere?

   Not that I am aware of.

   I would go straight to what is literally the official list: http://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/search-results?query=WordPress. Note that this search includes plugins and themes.
