   Hi:

   Is anyone aware of a plug-in that will automate daily backups and email them?

   Oooooooh, how I would like that.

   Or -- even better -- is there a way to convince WordPress to do the backups automatically each day and mail them?

   Backups of the whole site or just the database?

   For the database you could use a cron job? Who is your host?

   Hi Podz:

   Database, basically.

   For the current site I am concerned about, the host is NewWay -- a small operation out of Texas. I know I can set a cron job, not sure how to set one for a backup, but I'll look into that.

   If you have CPanel and the abilty to run cron jobs, try this script. I have been using for over a year with no problems.

   I wanted want my backup emailed to me. It's always over 30 megs.
