I need to import about 200 categories and about 400 tags into my blog. Within those 200 categories, they are split into 4 groups so I was hoping to find a plugin that would allow me to enter a list and then click a button to "import" all categories at once.
I've downloaded a number of "batch category" plugins looking for this functionality, but have found nothing so far. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there,
Did you find the answer to this? I was looking for something like this, too. Then, I noticed under Manage>Categories in 2.3 there is a link to "convert categories to tags." Maybe this will work for the both of us!

Still nothing good available that suits my needs... changing to tags doesn't solve my problem. :(

I'm also interested in a "Batchadd Category" plugin for 2.3.x
