   Hi,

   I just had a quick question I’m hoping someone can shed some light on regarding WP blogs....

   Do you know if there is a WordPress plugin that allows you to add a short description directly under each ‘Category’ title heading on a WP blog? I’d also like to add a short description to the main archive category page too.

   For example i have 10 different categories and rather than just featuring the individual blog posts under each category, what I’d like to do is first give viewers an introduction to the category with a short description followed underneath with each of the blog posts that fit in that category. Hope this makes sense. :-)

   Is this something that can be achieved and is there a simple WP plugin that can assist with that?

   WordPress already allows you to add short descriptions to each category. whether or not these descriptions are displayed depends upon your theme. Sounds like yours needs editing to show the descriptions. Try looking in category.php or archive.php.
