My site runs on the Thesis theme, which makes it easy to provide teasers of posts at the bottom of the page:
I prefer to keep a couple of full posts on the front page (rather than use "read more" for all posts of length), and therefore, I want to make Sociable visible on the front page of the blog as well as on individual blog post pages.
However, when I checkbox the "Front page of the blog" option, Sociable appears not only at the end of the visible posts, but at the end of the teasers at the bottom as well -- which means that at the bottom of the page, you get teasers with titles, short bursts of text, and then a line of share icons even though you can't actually see the full article.
It looks pretty silly.
Is there a way to have Sociable appear on the full posts but NOT on the teasers on the front page? My only choice right now seems to be all or nothing -- and all looks so ridiculous that nothing is the only way to go.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
