Hope this isn't a stupid question but is there a way to limit how many posts stay on the main paige of my blog? Does that make sense?
For example, say I have 4 posts at the frontpage of my blog and I write a fifth. I'd like to be able to have the oldest one moved off of the frontpage automatically.
Thank you if anyone has any suggestioins.

Hmm, I take it that you haven't been playing with WP for very long.
In your admin panel..Options->Reading, the first section does exactly what you want.

It is not a stupid question but it shows that during the one and half year since you are member of this forum you never looked around in your admin panel...
admin > Options > Reading

thanks for the help. I guess I have been a member for that long, wow. However, I only just started blogging a couple of days ago. thank you again for pointing out the obvious to me.
