The best option I can think of is create a new generic primary domain and just use it for all the subdomains. The domain I have currently as the primary domain I don't want to have associated with the other sites I have in the multisite. Right now the primary domain can easily be found in the page source of subdomains.
Is there a better option?
Subdomains or mapped domains?
And which plugin? I think that one has an option to use the mapped domain for backend things.

Mapped domains using the plugin "WordPress MU Domain Mapping".
I believe the setting you want to change is "Remote Login" then.

I FINALLY found the answer I was looking for!
Professional Domain Mapping plugin hides the subdomains. Yay!
