I have been having dozens of new suscribers registered in my blog, from weird email addresses such as “@trolling-google.pl” and I am wondering if there is a more robust way to allow people to suscribe in such a way that no bots can register everyday a dozen email addresses

Hi! This is an issue we’ve come across with other users, and we’re digging into preventing. It would help if you could post your site URL here, so I can have at your subscribers.

If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Thanks!

Hi Richard, my blogs address is: http://32spokesmtb.com

It would be awesome if you could implement something to prevent such false
    suscribers…

I had a look, and the subscribers are not Jetpack email subscribers as I do not see them listed for your site. They are likely registering to your site here:

    http://32spokesmtb.com/wp-login.php?action=register

because you have let registration open on your site. This doesn’t have anything to do with Jetpack. You can deactivate it by unchecking the “Anyone can register” box on your Settings -> General page.

I see, I already unchecked that, let see if that does it.

It seems I got confused with the newsletter email registration….

I´ll try it for a couple of days and let you know…
