Is there a way for a signup form to be on my homepage?

I have a website that posts everyday. I want it so that people can receive an e-mail whenever a post is added. I have subscribe2 plugin that says it will send out e-mails whenever there is an update. However, I have not figured that out.
Also, I want it so that there is a signup form in one of the sidebars.
