   Good morning,

   I am new to wordpress and have a question regarding Plugins.

   Is there a plugin that allows you to dictate what posts are shown in the sidebar?

   Basically, I need a plugin that does exactly what the "recent posts" plugin does but one that allows me to choose what posts are on show.

   Does such a plugin exist? I noticed there was one called "customosable posts plugin" which sounded perfect but from peoples comments it sounded problematic and it wont even install on my version of wordpress!!

   Thanks for reading and I would appreciate any comments.

   This widget gives you quite a few possibilities http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/query-posts/

   Could just use the post__in with 419,476 to display post IDs 419,476
