   Hi,
   I have a base theme designed and ready to go but on a certain section of the site i wish to have a bit of a variation of this theme.
   different colours and imagery.
   Is there a plugin that will allow me to use a different theme on these pages, and switch back to main theme on other pages?

   You could try looking for some form of theme switcher plugin. Or you could look at developing some custom templates. Finally, you could load additional stylesheets using conditionals.

   I will have to search a bit harder for the plugin i guess, I thought it might have been a simple thing that i am missing.
   To be honest i had thought or just having two installs of wp and. One in Folder A and one in Folder B then assigning different themes accordingly.
   Complete overkill but it would work.
   The whole conditional tags scares me a little, but i will read up a bit as it looks interesting (esp the sidebar depending on page bit)
