    Hi,

I have searched high and low in the codex but I don't think (tell me if I am wrong) there is a way to have a link and a description on seperete li tags.

    < ul >'
    < li >link and name and description< /li >
    '< /ul >

    but I want this....

    < ul >'
    < li >link and name < /li >
    < li >description< /li >
    '< /ul >

link in one li and the description in the other.

Many other systems offer this and was surprised not to see it in WP.

Hopefully someone will prove me wrong as this is something I need to do for page.

    Thanks
    Ant

I'm pretty sure you can change that around in your dashboard...

    Link Categories
    Show: Description
Format: Between Link and Description: Change to your liking.

You cannot change the link tag from within the "dashboard", which is actually one of the Admin screens - but using the built-in editor within the Admin to access the file, or with any good text editor, you can change the list of links from the Link Manager using the example shown here:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_get_links

There is an example that will show the title and description of the links.

Ah thats not what I mean (just tried it), I mean the actual link c/w name on 1 li and the description on another li. Not category link category and then link :)

    Thanks anyway
