Is there a plugin for my idea?

    I want to make posts and/or pages navigable alphabetically. I have some lyric pages I want visitors to be able to reach by clicking a central “lyrics” page – which ideally would have A-Z, then when they click a letter, artists beginning with that letter would come up, then they could choose which song they wanted lyrics to.

    I think its possible with category and tag manipulation, but need to know which direction to go. Or is this something only a database would be able to pull?

    That’s one way to go about it.

    I just recently released a plugin that might be of use for this. Multi-column Tag Map.

    What you can do is each song you add gets tagged with the artists name and only that tag. When the page the plugin is on is loaded, it will alphabetically list all the tags. These being the artists name. Clicking the name will bring you to a page that will list all posts with that tag, thus the songs themselves.
