is there a plug in that shows site updates?

I’d like to have a page on my site that lists all updates along with a description of what was updated on each post/page – like an excerpt.

Possibly with options to set the amount of updates listed, the ability to customize the page using my themes own column shortcodes – things like that.

I cant find any plug ins that seem do do this, are there any?
