Is there a “Followers” widget?

    Hi!
    I´m all new to WP, and trying to build a blog/site according to my wishes is both fun and at times trying. Amazing with all the stuff I find in the forums.

    My question at the moment: Is there a widget or plugin where people can add themselves as followers of my blog – sort of like Blogger´s Followers (they use Google Friend Connect)?
    Or some other interactive social thing, where readers can actively choose to show their interest?

    I find it a bit hard to navigate through all the plugins and widgets and actually find what I´m looking for – there is an overwhelming amount of them out there!

    Very grateful for some good ideas!

    Hi,
    I’m working on developing such a widget. Please tell me what you’d like to see on it! I understand your general desire (to show visible interaction between readers and your blogs), but is there anything specific you’d like your followers to do (or you’d like to do for your followers)? I’d like to make it as useful as possible for WordPress users.
    In any case, I can let you know as soon as it’s ready (by January I hope).
