I've been working on the wording for my "about" page for a couple of days. This morning I was just about finished when somehow I must have hit a keyboard combination that closed my browser. When I reopen the browser the content of the about page was the new site default message.

Is it possible to recover my text? How do I avoid this in the future? Can anyone help me please?

do you have any revisions (further down on the 'edit page' page in admin)?

if this does not show, click 'screen options' near the top right of that page, and tick show on screen 'revisions'; then scroll down again, and you should be able to see the revisions list.

Thanks for your help. I've rewritten the content, but it is good to know about "show on screen".
