I am absolutely new at WordPress. Just opened an account for a free WordPress blog today, so please bear with me. I have made an effort to find the answer to this question in the FAQs and Codex.
All the information I have seen so far about migrating is for migrating to a location where the blogger has paid for a domain. Is it possible to migrate from the free blog at Blogger to the free blog at WordPress? I have several blogs there I would like to move here.
The information about migration starts with Install WordPress to your server. Well, since I have no domain, I have no server to install it to.
So please confirm whether I am understanding this correctly: it seems that you can only migrate your blogs from Blogger if you have paid for a domain and installed the WordPress software to your host server for the domain.
If I am not understanding this correctly, then I would be grateful if someone could point me to the directions on how to migrate Blogger blogs to free blogs on wordpress.org.
