Just wondering if its safe to update wordpress security keys in wp-config.php after installation? i.e. are these used in the database at all?
I'm working on a site that I didn't install and want to add the keys in now but don't want to make a mess!

Safe: Yes.
Used in the DB: No.
All that'll happen is you may need to clear out your browser's cookies and re-login. Nothing major.
ALWAYS use them :)
