Can one have a label and a corresponding input field on the first line, and then a second label and ITS input field on the second line, vertically aligned below the first input field?

etc. (Spaces in labels seem to get swallowed up).

    Thanks in anticipation,

Ah, I see that spaces got swallowed up in my example, so the input fields are not aligned the way I intended them to be. But I’m sure you know what I mean… Kind of illustrates the point…

I’ve been searching for an answer to this question for forever. No one can seem to provide one.. really frustrating :/

This is CSS styling issue and not hard if you are skilled at HTML & CSS.

To change the style of your CF7 forms you would need to edit the CSS style sheets used by your WordPress theme.

See Styling Contact Form for a general explanation of styling CF7 forms using CSS. If you are not familiar with CSS, this page also includes some links to where you can learn CSS.

Use Firebug or Chrome Dev Tools to to examine the HTML and CSS of your CF7 form in detail. Once you understand how the HTML and CSS is configured in your CF7 form, you should be able to see the CSS changes you need to change the appearance of the form to suit your requirements.
