Have loved this plugin for a long time.
Now I wonder if it's possible to use the new media uploader included in WordPress 3.5?
It's a shame to have the featured image using the new uploader, and the secondary image using the old uploader.

Someone has submitted a patch which I'm reviewing. If it works, hopefully I can get it integrated next week.

Can you tell us more about this pull request? Will this code ever make it into the published plugin? I was hoping that this most recent update would add support for the WP 3.5 media selector, but it doesn't seem to have done so.

It's much better with the new media uploader. However, you forgot an important default WordPress functionality! The dropdown menu (in the top left corner of that modal) to only show the images related to the specific post. That makes it a lot harder to look for certain images.
Could you add this?

Version 1.6 is now available which uses the media modal and incorporates the fixes above.
