Is it possible to turn off post credit "by admin" ? (6 posts)

    Hi,

    |I am wanting to take off the by of text by the post which says

    "by admin" its normally found beside edit post.

    Is there any way to take this off?

    that depends on the theme you are using.

    you probably need to edit index.php and single.php (and maybe other or more template files)

    I'm using graphene theme

    edit loop.php, and find:

    if (!is_page()) {
    									/* translators: this is for the author byline, such as 'by John Doe' */
    									_e('by','graphene'); echo ' '; the_author_posts_link();
    								}

    you can remove this if you don't want the 'by admin'

    (make a backup copy of your theme before editing template files)
