I've seen that done with phpbb. I'm just wondering is it a relatively easy job or require some hardcore coding skills?

    Cheers

    Google

I've never done it, but looks like you can use the same user base, but may need to theme independently?

Thanks. I've looked through it is quite a task. But no doubt a beautiful piece if it works. Cheers mate.

    check this:

    here
    and then the forum
    here

it is a little intensive, but works... most folks can't tell they aren't theme integrated. btw, I use the bridge headless typer :-) suggested. It does a fine job of linking users and sessions but doesn't go any further than that.

We can speak off line on how it is done if you want... it isn't that bad, but has it quirks.

So, We know it can be done, but I'm not familiar enough with the code to know how to do it.

drewactual : I am tempted by your offer. How do i get you? Leave me a msg at i.am@hungzai.com

Jasonian : There are plenty of tutorials on how it can be done. The only problem is it normally isn;t as smooth as we read.
