   Hello,

   Is it possible to have postings on different pages that match that particular page's content? E.g., recipe page folks can post their own recipes to that page.

   Don't think about using Pages. Use Categories instead. That's what they're for.

   So if you make a post and put it in the "recipe" category, then it shows up on the /category/recipe page. This is built in and automatic, no need to do anything special.

   You can even make templates in your theme to style different categories in different ways: http://codex.wordpress.org/Category_Templates
