Is it possible to get Video Thumbnails working with this plugin…?

Hi Sutherland,

First of all, this is great work and and even greater idea for a plugin. I’m sure it streamlines the video thumbnail creation process for so many!

I have just installed your plugin to grab thumbnails from my YouTube videos, but scanning older posts with videos (only one so far) doesn’t return any thumbnail results. I’m assuming that it’s because Video Thumbnails isn’t specifically compatible with how I’m getting my YouTube videos into my posts.

I’m using the Automatic YouTube Video Posts Plugin which allows me to enter my YouTube channel name and have all my video uploads automatically create posts with included YouTube meta data.

I am using a Genesis child theme and I often take advantage of their featured posts widgets which pulls the featured image from the post.

I’m close to automating the video upload/posting process and getting Video Thumbnails as featured images attached to these posts would be the ICING on the cake:)

I wonder if you’ve looked at how this plugin embeds the YouTube videos or have any idea on what options I might have (if any)?

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
