I use headings quite a bit in my pages and I was curious as if there was a way to add that button to the pretty editor's tinyMCE quick buttons? Thanks!

    Actually there is: http://blog.labnotes.org/2005/12/26/advanced-editing-for-wordpress-20/

Using it right now and it works great!

I just installed this with 2.1.x and it works great, except I need to hit "alt+shift+v" (firefox) each time to make the editor appear.

Anyone know how to tweak the Php or other settings to default it to visible on load?

    Thanks

No need to install anything. Some of those features are already there by default in the editor. In Firefox, hit alt-shift-V and voila.

These will be more obviously visible in the next version of WordPress.
