Hi
I have a craft site and have card categories such as:
new baby
baby girl
congratulations
Birthday
mothers day
etc
If I were to make a new baby card for a girl would it be ok to add it to all these categories
new baby
baby girl
congratulations
or would that be seen as duplicating content?

Having a post with many categories or many tags does not cause dup content issues;
Otherwise ALL wordpress posts and pages will always only allow one cat. or one tag

Thanks I did think that would be the case, but suddenly thought oh dear what if I shouldn't be doing that...lol
Also if I am making an internal hyperlink in my main copy is it ok to link it to the main catergory so that visitors can see the whole list of say birthday cards or should any internal links, link to a specific page?
I think it would be better for my visitors to see a list of cards in the main category if they have just clicked on birthday cards in the copy but I am also mindful of the seo side of things and link juice building up a specific page on my site
