   There is no place on my admin page, either the page to write new posts, or to edit posts, where I can assign the page to a particular page template (v.2.8). Has this function gone away? (Yes, I have created several templates using the
   

   <?php
   /*
   Template Name: Front_Page
   */
   ?>

   and uploaded them. Admin recognizes them nowhere, and I cannot use them. Using mts-journey theme, which actually turned out to be a little backward, so I wouldn't be surprised if the designer did something to hide that... or is it changed in v. 2.8.2?

   The Page Template option is available in the right side of the page-new.php, inside the Attributes box. It is below the Page Parent option.

   Hi,

   need help on this. I can't see it to too. I'm looking at that attribute side bar but nothing related to template appears. I basically did what jami1955 said above. What do i need to do to see it?

   I got it to work I just had to log in and out.
