Is it best to download WordPress into your root directory? (4 posts)

I've been having trouble with my website links since I've been using dynamic includes.
I downloaded my wordpress into a folder called wordpress.
The links work fine from the index page, but when you click on a blog's story title, it leads to its single page. When you try to access other pages in my site from that single page, the dynamic includes don't work.

I assume the only way to fix this is to download wordpress into my root directory as opposed to another folder titled 'wordpress'.

Any and all help is appeciated!

Why are you using dynamic includes instead of regular WordPress code?

I'm using dynamic includes for the main links on my page. There's a navigation bar on my layout. Do you have a different idea to make it easier/more convenient? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Since you don't have a large number of main links, I would just use regular links for your navigation.
