    the following code will extract the archives and display the archives in a bulleted list.

      <?php wp_get_archives('type=monthly'); ?>

    but i want to display the most recent entried and tried using the follwoing

      <?php wp_get_archives('type=daily'); ?>

    but problem with that is it displays only the date of the blog, while doesnot display the name of the blog.
    so i tried this

      <?php get_recent_posts(7, '', '
      ', false, 0); ?>

    i activated the plugins to get <?php get_recent_posts(7, '', '
    ', false, 0); ?> work.
    everythign works all right, but now the bullets don't come :(. I don't want to break the theme of my webpage by having alist without bullets.
    any help?
    Amit
