    I Love your MP3 player but was wondering if it is possible to only allow a registered user to download the MP3 file?

    Is it possible or does anyone know how to incorporate WordPress Download Manager plugin since it has this feature to only let registered users download files.

    Greatly appreciate any help.

    At the time the download feature is available for everyone. I can see to implement this as option in the next release.

    along the same lines, i was wondering if it would be possible to include an option to enable downloading for some mp3 posts and not others?

    for instance, in the wpaudio plugin (now dead), it was possible to format a link as:

    <a href="http://URLofMP3here.mp3" class="wpaudio-nodl">

    The 'class="wpaudio-nodl"' would disable the download option on that player. If this bit wasn't included, then downloads were allowed.

    We are sent music from artists and some of them want their music to be downloadable whereas others do not, and it would be GREAT if you could implement this kind of option into your plugin (rather than just the universal downloads on or downloads off in the settings page).

    Hope you consider it thanks!

    Hi,
    That is already possible from the post/page editor.
    if you select the link to the audio file the map button on the tinyMCE toolbar will activate; clicking it will show a configuration window for that specific instance where you can define the all the player properties included the downloadable option.

    Bye,
    Matteo

    Thanks for the reply Pupunzi.

    For some reason I cannot see the map button on the tinyMCE toolbar. I edit my posts in the HTML editor, not Visual. But neither are showing the button.

    Is there a class definition I can add to my <a href="mp3pathname.mp3"> to enable or disable downloads?

    Nevermind, I realized it was the plugin itself that is breaking my Visual Editor.. saw your post in another thread about installing via FTP rather than with the web-based Plugin manager.. will have to wait for my site admin to give me permission to do so. thanks for creating such a nice plugin though, once I get the toolbar to work it will be perfect for our site's needs.
