   I have Contact form 7 installed on my wordpress site. i keep getting an error trying to install it. is Contact Form 7 Compatible with WPML?

   What error?

   You can create a new contact form in your language with Contact Form 7.

   Contact Form in Your Language

   I don't know well about WPML.

   Please check WPML, this is one of the most used and most feature rich content translation plugins - as a plugin author you really should know about it and how your plugin relates to it. At least we are publishing in the world-wide-web for all the people of the planet, that might involve different languages.
