Hi fellas. I am thinking about adding a captca plugin to my site Go Blogger (dot) net. In your opinion and experience, is it really necessary? Is it worthy of making visitors harder to comment?

No. Not only does it make your visitors' lives harder, captchas rarely offer much in the way of a defence against spammers. Most are broken very easily.

Use a decent anti-spam plugin instead - like Akismet or WP-Spamfree.
Thanks a lot!
I have put Akismet since the first time I started WordPress. It is already installed with Hello Dolly! Plugin. It can block all spam up to now. I'll try WP-Spamfree later on. Thanks.
I would recommend using only one because two or more conflict with each other.
