I am a current customer of Bloghosts.com and I have nothing but great reviews of them and their service.

I signed up two days ago as well. No response. I also emailed info@bloghosts.com, emergency@bloghosts.com, AND each of the 3 team members personally.
No response.
I’m pissed. They have 20 bucks of mine. I either want the service, or I want my money back.
I am hosted by bloghosts. I had an issue a few weeks ago (around the time the boards went down) and haven’t received any reply. I’ve contacted all of the possible email addresses too. I’ve since resolved the issue on my own. But I’m concerned about the status of this service because their site hasn’t been updated in about 2 weeks. Does anyone have info?

Nope, not anything besides the fact that they have 20 of my dollars and I want them back. I filed a claim with PayPal and they’re investigating the issue.

i am using bloghosts for several accounts and feeling nervous about it. though uptime and overall value has been good, service bugs and inexcusable delays have been mounting as of late.
as much as i like smaller hosts in principle, i would caution all about signing up with any host that seems ill-suited towards rapid growth. i’d also say that any host without chat or phone support –relying strictly on email as does bloghosts– is one that is vulnerable to slow turnarounds.

Hi! I´m looking for a new alternativeto bloghosts. I want wordpress installation via fantastico and all the nice cpanel options i had at bloghosts. Alltogether for a good price and, extremly important, with a good support. Any suggestions?

I am going to switch hosting companies as well. I have had some issues lately with Bloghosts and never got a reply about them. Really sad, they were a great hosting company when I first joined them and very prompt with support answers.
Bloghosts is effectively gone, and they’ll be completely gone in Jan 2005.

I decided to go with total choice hosting. Pretty painless transfer. I’m pleased so far, but it’s only been 1 day. 🙂 Bloghosts is supposedly providing refunds…I’m not holding my breath on that one.

Really sad that Bloghosts went down the way they did. Great company when I first joined them, then after a few months everything went downhill so fast I didn’t even know what happened.
I am now using Dreamhost. Wonderful hosting company that I have noticed being used by many popular bloggers. Let’s hope I’m right about this one.
I’ve used Dreamhost for over three years now and have always gotten prompt attention to support requests and have been very happy with them.
