   I have tried various plug-ins, and while Kimili Flash Embed did load the movie, the controls (ClearOverAll.swf, for example) do not load correctly. Anyone have any suggestions?

   Flash versions are backward compatable. If you are using a plugin coded in an older version of flash, flash 8 will play it with no problem. Im not sure what you are trying to say really.

   I am trying to use the custom controls that are only available with Flash 8. For the video files, it creates three files - the .flv file, the movie.swf, and then a seperate .swf for the movie controls.
