Is an automatic post from a Twitter tweet now impossible?

    Hi there,

    I used to have Twitter Tools automatically create a new WP blog post from a Twitter tweet… but that plugin no longer exists.

    All of the Twitter plugins I can find allow for tweets to be created from WordPress, or for tweets to appear in a widget on a WordPress site, but thus far it seems that anyone asking about an actual post being created from Twitter gets no reply.

    Has WP changed in such a way that such a plugin is an impossibility?

    It was actually Twitter that changed.

    Those plugins fell apart a while back when Twitter was overhauled.

    I’m sure it is possible to autopost tweets to posts, it just may be that nobody cares to code it

    (I used to use Twitter Tools as well)

    Thanks for the reply—I feared as much.

    BTW your VoodooPress blog was incredibly helpful for me a few months ago when I took the plunge and upgraded from a very old version. Thanks so much for that too.
