   Downloaded '2.6.3' to upgrade from 2.6.1, still keep getting 'upgrade to 2.6.3" advice. Opened the folders and the read me says it's 2.6.1.

   I'm a little confused. Is the download 2.6.3 or 2.6.1?

   Unfortunately the readme file in 2.6.3 still says it's 2.6.1 but that's not your problem.

   You need to redo Step 7 and Step 8 in Upgrading WordPress Extended.
